Report Card Information
Reminder that report card prep is Monday, February 25th during PLC time. Grades are due in PowerSchool by 11:59PM PST on March 6th and report cards go home on March 8th. We will be sending out more information regarding grades next week.
For step-by-step instructions on how and where to input grades, comments, and print a report card be sure to check out Technology Services Helpful “How To’s” page for quick reference guides. If you do have questions please submit a SchoolDude ticket or call the Helpdesk at (916) 771-1645, and we'll be happy to assist you. Based on limited call volume and support requests, we will no longer be offering weekend support the weekend prior.

The 25th anniversary of the Annual Multicultural Education Conference takes place at Sac State and will celebrate the past, present, and future of the multicultural education movement. Essential Comprehension Strategies from PARC- February 26, 2019
The fourth of the 5-part series on Balanced Literacy is coming up on February 26th. Join PARC for an evening with Lori Oczkus as she delivers a fast-paced and energizing presentation on the Essential Comprehension Strategies.
Lori is a literacy coach/demonstration teacher, presenter, and has trained teachers nationwide! She is the author of several books including Reciprocal Teaching At Work, and Literacy Survival Tips. See the flyer below for more information.

The school had spent months of planning and coordination to make sure teachers in the math department were using sequenced curriculum and that each teacher was preparing students to be ready for the next year -- called "vertical alignment." Yet teachers’ different approaches to grading was undermining all of it, sending confusing messages about learning and impacting students’ grades and promotion rates, their beliefs about school, and even their self-image.
