Reminder About Material Distribution
Below is the link to the email sent to the staff on Thursday from Jamey Schrey.

Parents Having Trouble Logging In
Some parents are saying there are times when they log into their student's account it reverts back to their own Gmail account or their other child's account. Please ask them to make sure they are logged out of all accounts. If that does not work, they can open a Private or Incognito window in your internet browser. You do this by opening your internet browser, click on file and choose "Private Window" or "Incognito Window". See the video below to show how you can start an Incognito Window.

Clever & Zoom Integration
At this time, we're working with Clever and Zoom to integrate Zoom with Clever. This will allow teacher and student access, without needing the extension installed for students. Unfortunately, this is a multiple day configuration process with Clever, and we're waiting on them to enable the functionality. Once enabled, students shouldn't need the Chrome extension installed, instead they will be able to join Zoom meetings from the Clever Portal → Click on your teacher page → Click on the Zoom icon. Students will immediately be taken to a teachers virtual meeting!

We will send an email to everyone once the integration is complete.

Leaning into Second Step
There are specific lessons that can help with coping during these uncertain times.  Here is the link for ideas of additional supports we can offer students and their families.

Digital Citizenship Page
If you are looking for example Guidelines you can use with students for Google Classroom or Video Chat, there are examples (thank you Chilton and OR) on the RCSD Continuous Learning Digital Citizenship page.

All Elementary Teachers
The Elementary PE teachers will be creating lessons that will need to be posted to your Google Classroom sites. Please work with your PE teachers to ensure their lessons are uploaded on a weekly basis for student use. Thank you.

Educational Support Services
ESS staff, please review the ESS Update for today.
