 Message from Jamey Schrey

In honor of Staff Appreciation Week, I would like to thank you for all your extra efforts this year. You have allowed students to grow academically, supported their mental health, provided physical outlets, and made the world seem “normal” to them.

The challenges that have faced us all have been daunting. It is hard even to look back a year ago and think about what was happening in our world. And while we are still navigating unchartered waters, your encouraging faces and words are a comfort to our youth.

Each of you is a guide and mentor to thousands of young children. I will always be grateful to you for your support and kindness.

With Kind Regards,
Jamey

1st-Grade Tier 1 Learning Targets

This document, calibrated by 1st-grade teachers across RCSD, identifies the 1st-grade math learning targets for each trimester.  Please use and reference this document with your PLC, students, and families.  This document lives on your 1st-grade Math Table of Contents and the RCSD Learning Site. The Spanish version will be linked next week.  Please reach out to Megan Spears with any questions.

Last Friday, the multi-purpose room at Crestmont Elementary School was officially named after Rich Sorenson.  Rich was the principal at Crestmont for over 20 years, and an amazing educator and person.
