iReady Diagnostic Window 1
The iReady diagnostic testing window will close on September 10. As a reminder, the first diagnostic is required for grades 2-8 and optional for grades K-1. Please remember that personalized instruction will not be available until the first diagnostic is completed.

Benchmark Assessments in Otus
All Benchmark assessments for Units 1 and 2 are now built and available in Otus.

You can find all assessments in the “Shared with Me” folder in the Assessment section of Otus. As a reminder, all of the Week 1 and 2 assessments for Units 1-8, Grades 1-5 are in Otus. We are continuing to build the Unit Assessments for Units 3-8. Please watch this short video to see how to access the assessments.

Using Unsubmit on Simple and Advanced Assessments in Otus
Did your student accidentally submit their assessment? Do you want to offer the student a chance to change their answers? Has your student submitted the assessment with unanswered questions? Technology Updates

Changes to your School YouTube Account
Technology Services is aware of an automated notification shared by Google this week regarding changes to staff YouTube accounts. No further action is needed by staff, all staff profiles have been updated to identify “all users are 18 or older.”

Effective immediately, managed student accounts (rcsdkids) are no longer able to upload videos to YouTube, or post comments to YouTube videos. Please continue to promote and utilize screencastify and Drive to create and share videos for student accounts.

Technology Services Teacher End-of-Year Checkout - Technology As we near the end of the school year, we would like to share some guidance regarding the end-of-year checkout process for teachers' technology items. Please take a look at the below steps to ensure a smooth distribution and collection of items. The Information Systems Technician team will be distributing Ziploc bags to each site no later than June 6th based on certificated rosters. Principals and site clerical should then work internally to distribute the bags to each teacher. Ziploc Bag Distribution Each teacher will be provided one Ziploc bag for their current room. Teachers are required to place their iPad, Apple TV, charging bricks, charging cables, and remotes (both Apple TV and TV) inside the Ziploc bag. Each Ziploc bag should be clearly labeled with their respective current Room #. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES Elementary Report Card Information Report Card Prep is February 21, 2024. Report cards must be sent home by Friday, March 1st. Please work with your principal on if report cards will be emailed or printed and by when. Teachers have the ability to print their own report card in PTP. We will have an optional Zoom training on February 21 from 2:00pm-2:30pm for any elementary teacher that needs reminders on how to enter grades or comments in PowerSchool. Here is the Zoom link for the training. If grades are entered and you want to see what they look like, everything is live so you can create a PDF anytime between now and March 1st.
