K/1 Teachers: Fluency Tracker Template
One of the questions asked during the ESGI training was: How can we track Fluency levels? Can we put in ESGI their actual reading level rather than a score?

We will be using ESGI to track student proficiency as a District. In ESGI, to score, you can only enter numbers or Yes/No. Therefore teachers will report data in ESGI but can continue to track Fluency levels (specific reading levels) as they have done previously.

We did create a sheet that can help you track student fluency levels while automatically showing if they are Proficient, Approaching, or Beginning. This sheet is not required in any way, just a resource for PLCs or a teacher if they would find it helpful.

Otus
Marking an Assessment Missing
Below is a short video showing how to mark missing as a teacher and how to pull a missing report from Otus by an individual student. You can only mark Missing on a rubric, not a plus assessment.
Rubric Reminders in Otus
A reminder that you can have multiple domains on the same rubric, you would add descriptors for each domain. Also, as a reminder, it is helpful to put a due date for all rubrics. If you ever need help setting up a rubric, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Otus Family Account Information
The following email went out to all 6-8 parents on Wednesday, 8/17.

On Zedesk there is a video showing how parents can navigate their family account.
