Elementary Progress Reports
A reminder Progress Report PLC prep is on 4/19/23 and Progress Reports go home Friday, April 21, 2023.  One progress report has just the domains, and the other has more details. The progress report with more detail has been created based on the District pacing guides. The document below has all the progress reports. Because the Domain-only progress
report is the same for all 3 trimesters, teachers will need to update the trimester after they make a copy.
RCSD Elementary Progress Report Master Document

K/1 Specific Information

Teachers can use either the progress report similar to the one from 1st Trimester or one similar to what has been used in the past that has the domains.  It is the teacher’s decision which one they would like to use.  A reminder that ESGI report expectations are that they are sent home at at progress report time Tri 1, and end of Tri 1, 2, and 3.  There is no district expectation to send ESGI reports at progress report time for Tris 2 and 3.

Progress Report Expectations

There are two minimum expectations from the District when it comes to Progress Reports in the 3rd Trimester:

  • Any student that might receive a Beginning on any domain on the Trimester 3 Report Card receives communication regarding progress from their teacher during progress report time.  This includes both academic domains and learning behaviors.

    • The communication does not have to be in the form of the RCSD progress report. Teachers can communicate using the District form, or you may use your own form of communication (Examples include assessment binders, portfolios, or other means of communication with parents). If you are going to communicate using something different than the District provided form, you must let your administrator know.

  • PLCs are on the same page in regard to what information they send home and when they send that home.

Teachers are allowed to send additional information or information to all students if they choose, but that is a PLC decision.
