Elementary Progress Report Reminders

A reminder, Elementary Progress Reports need to go home by Friday, September 29th. Progress Report PLC prep day is September 20th.

Middle School Mid-Trimester Progress Check

Progress Report PLC prep day is September 20th. Middle school teachers, an email from the school site will go home on Friday, September 29th to remind parents they can check grades in Otus. Here is a sample of the message that will be sent home by the school site. A reminder all students should have a grade for both Engagement and Work Completion.

Update to Student Google Profile Pictures

We have noticed an increase in students changing their Google profile pictures to either another student's profile photo or an inappropriate image. To prevent this from becoming an issue going forward, students will have their picture reset to no image, and students will not be able to update their profile pictures in the future. This change will begin on September 15, 2023.


Otus Profile Image and Name

It was brought to our attention that students recently had the capability to change their profile pictures and names within Otus. Otus has taken action to adjust the settings, thereby preventing students from making further modifications to their profiles within the Learning Management System. It's important to note that updates to profile pictures or names within Otus did not affect any other learning applications or systems, such as Clever, Google, PowerSchool, etc.


K-5 Math - Free Back to School Training Session

Wellness Program - Grokker Challenge - Sept 25 to Oct 13

You’re invited: 10 Minute, No Limit!! Challenge - We challenge you to find me-time for 10 minutes a day, for 19 days.  There’s “no limit” on what you do as long as you focus on your wellbeing for 10 minutes a day. Technology Services Teacher End-of-Year Checkout - Technology As we near the end of the school year, we would like to share some guidance regarding the end-of-year checkout process for teachers' technology items. Please take a look at the below steps to ensure a smooth distribution and collection of items. The Information Systems Technician team will be distributing Ziploc bags to each site no later than June 6th based on certificated rosters. Principals and site clerical should then work internally to distribute the bags to each teacher. Ziploc Bag Distribution Each teacher will be provided one Ziploc bag for their current room. Teachers are required to place their iPad, Apple TV, charging bricks, charging cables, and remotes (both Apple TV and TV) inside the Ziploc bag. Each Ziploc bag should be clearly labeled with their respective current Room #. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES Elementary Report Card Information Report Card Prep is February 21, 2024. Report cards must be sent home by Friday, March 1st. Please work with your principal on if report cards will be emailed or printed and by when. Teachers have the ability to print their own report card in PTP. We will have an optional Zoom training on February 21 from 2:00pm-2:30pm for any elementary teacher that needs reminders on how to enter grades or comments in PowerSchool. Here is the Zoom link for the training. If grades are entered and you want to see what they look like, everything is live so you can create a PDF anytime between now and March 1st.
