Volunteers Needed for Tommy Apostolos Fund Annual Kids’ Shopping Day

ELA Essential Standards Assessment Committee

This year we will be continuing the essential standards assessment work that was started last year. We would like to finish creating short, form A/B assessments for each language arts essential standard. We will need teachers from 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th. Teachers will be compensated for their time. 

We will be meeting December 11th,  January 17th, and January 24th. If you are interested in being on the committee, please submit the form below by November 17th.

2nd-5th Grade Tier II ELA Curriculum Feedback and Input

We are looking for a team of 2nd-5th grade teachers to join a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, November 29th from 2:45-3:45 p.m. We are looking for teachers to provide feedback and input on possible Tier II ELA curriculum or supplemental support options. Important Update: Automatic Logouts for Staff Chrome OS Devices Starting December 17th

To enhance digital security and privacy, we will enforce automatic log-outs of staff accounts from Chrome OS devices, including Chromebooks and Chromeboxes, after 20 minutes of inactivity. This change takes effect on Friday, December 17, at 3:00 PM.


If your Chrome OS device is inactive for 20 minutes, the system automatically logs you out. This measure reduces the risk of unauthorized access and protects the confidentiality of stored information.

    Please note the Chrome OS Logouts Post applies to staff using Chrome OS devices (e.g., Chromebooks or Chromebox). It does not apply to staff running Apple devices with a Chrome browser.

Technology Services Teacher End-of-Year Checkout - Technology As we near the end of the school year, we would like to share some guidance regarding the end-of-year checkout process for teachers' technology items. Please take a look at the below steps to ensure a smooth distribution and collection of items. The Information Systems Technician team will be distributing Ziploc bags to each site no later than June 6th based on certificated rosters. Principals and site clerical should then work internally to distribute the bags to each teacher. Ziploc Bag Distribution Each teacher will be provided one Ziploc bag for their current room. Teachers are required to place their iPad, Apple TV, charging bricks, charging cables, and remotes (both Apple TV and TV) inside the Ziploc bag. Each Ziploc bag should be clearly labeled with their respective current Room #. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES Elementary Report Card Information Report Card Prep is February 21, 2024. Report cards must be sent home by Friday, March 1st. Please work with your principal on if report cards will be emailed or printed and by when. Teachers have the ability to print their own report card in PTP. We will have an optional Zoom training on February 21 from 2:00pm-2:30pm for any elementary teacher that needs reminders on how to enter grades or comments in PowerSchool. Here is the Zoom link for the training. If grades are entered and you want to see what they look like, everything is live so you can create a PDF anytime between now and March 1st.
