RCSD Illness Guidelines Updates
RCSD has modified our guidelines utilizing updated guidelines provided by the California Department of Public Health. While these changes are not extensive, it is important for all staff to be aware of them and to review the signs and symptoms sheet available on our health website here. This document will help you understand how our schools will be responding to various student health situations. The new guidelines have been shared out with families several times via email, social media, and blogs over the past two weeks, and will go into effect on January 29, 2024.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Megan Mercado.

MacOS Updates
If you are running macOS 12.3 or higher on your district-issued laptop, update to the latest version (Sonoma 14.3) to enhance MacBook security and protect your information, including the latest macOS features.

Starting January 29th, staff will receive a "nudge" pop-up window prompting them to update their macOS. Staff devices not updated will be collected during your site's scheduled update day.

For staff on macOS 11.x, an Administrator password is required for the update. Therefore, you will not receive a "nudge" pop-up window prompting you to update. The Information Systems Technician team will be on site after February 12th to assist with updating these devices. The schedule will be shared soon.

A macOS update roster has been shared with your LITE to assist staff with storage issues. Please reach out to your LITE if you need assistance updating.
