November 14, 2024 RCSD Educator Digest
A Message from the Deputy Superintendent
Educational Services followed the PDAC plan, aiming to provide opportunities for educators to learn and collaborate on effective behavior strategies. When planning PD, we consult with other districts and spend considerable time planning with external presenters to ensure the content meets our expectations. However, we recognize that the behavior sessions, at Eich and Stoneridge, did not meet the high standards we strive for, and many educators left without new strategies or actionable insights. While the content was important, the presentation did not fully engage participants or address the practical strategies and collaboration opportunities that were expected.
We appreciate your professionalism and understanding and are committed to making improvements. In January, we look forward to offering more engaging professional development choices.
Sincerely,
Jamey Schrey
