General Update Tommy Apostolos Kids Shopping Days - December 4 & December 11 That time of the year is fast approaching and the Tommy Apostolos Fund is looking for lots of volunteers for their annual Kids Shopping Days. As they did last year the shopping will take place without the kids in order to maintain COVID safety but they have over 580 children nominated and they want to help as many as they can. They have lots of slots available from 6:00am – 11:00am on December 4 and 11. Volunteers can sign up on  Tommy Apostolo's website and then arrive at Kohl’s to shop. Even without kids, they want this to be a fun day for everyone as they help their community. If you can spare some time for this wonderful experience please sign up! Thanks! EL & ELD Information: RFEP Monitoring Forms  Regular monitoring of students who have been reclassified from English Learner (EL) status to Fluent English Proficient (RFEP) is one way to support the continued language growth in our students. Official documentation of this monitoring is a state requirement and must be completed, twice per year, for any students who have been reclassified within the last 4 years.  This year, all RFEP monitoring documentation will be completed in our Ellevation platform. Teachers with students who have been reclassified within the last 4 years will receive an email from Ellevation on 11/12/21 prompting the completion of the first documentation for the year. If you receive an email from Ellevation, please log-in to Ellevation through Clever to complete the forms.  If you have any questions, please watch this 3-minute video on completing monitoring forms or contact your EL Site Leader. Thank you for your time and careful attention to this process.  Con

Our hope is that with an immediate notification, our amazing subs will be able to better plan their schedules, be more available to us and be more comfortable in knowing their assignments in advance. There is nothing for you to do, the change will be made from Personnel Services in an effort to get more jobs filled more quickly throughout the District. However, you can help by entering your absences in Frontline as soon as you know you will be absent. The closer to the actual absence, the less likely you
