Educational Services April 21st Professional Development Hello RCSD Educators, We are very excited for our upcoming district PD day on 4/21/25! Please review the document linked below which provides location and schedule information for elementary and middle school staff. Teachers will need a charged laptop for the district professional development sessions. All elementary teachers will attend the Social Studies PD for the grade level they currently teach and will need to bring their TCI Social Studies Teacher’s Edition. Teachers will have access to see student historical data again beginning on March 27th. Contact: Kelly Yusim 6-8 Math: IXL Snapshot Diagnostic Has a New Name IXL is constantly adding new features and updating their platform. One of their latest updates is changing the name of the Real Time Diagnostic in Snapshot mode to Flex Diagnostic in Benchmark mode. Their reason for the change is that Flex Diagnostic better reflects the purpose and impact of the assessment. Nothing is changing with how we assess students or what data we capture, just the name is different. Please work with your principal on if report cards will be emailed or printed and by when. Teachers will have the ability to print their own report card in PTP. Resources: Elementary PTP- Entering Report Card Grades and Comments Running PowerSchool Report Cards- Teachers: This page includes steps on how to run a report card, as well as an instructional video. If you are having any issues with entering grades or questions regarding PowerTeacher Pro, please submit a Zendesk ticket. Middle School Report Card Information Final grades are due by Thursday, March 6th at 11:59pm. Report cards will be emailed home on March 7th.
