Staff Directory Photos
Starting in the 2025-26 school year, we will be using official school photos to update staff directory profiles on our websites. This is to ensure that profile photos are current, consistent, and accurately represent each staff member. No action is required; just plan to be photo-ready on picture day.

Reminder - Backup iPad Data Before Summer Break
As we prepare for the end of the school year, we’d like to remind staff that iPads are assigned as part of the classroom presentation package and may be reassigned or reset over the summer.
If you’ve used your iPad for any personal work or stored files directly on the device, please be sure to back up your data to Google Drive before leaving for summer break. This ensures that none of your materials are lost and makes for a smooth transition into the new school year.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to back up your files and help us keep our technology ready and organized!

Important Reminder: Enroll in Free Identity and Credit Monitoring Services from Experian
As a reminder, all staff who were employed by the District on or before December 28, 2024, are eligible to enroll in complimentary identity and credit monitoring services provided through Experian, as part of PowerSchool’s response to the cybersecurity incident announced earlier this year.
On December 28, 2024, PowerSchool identified unauthorized access and data exfiltration through its customer support portal, impacting select users of its Student Information System (SIS). Impacted information may include names, contact details, dates of birth, limited medical alert information, Social Security numbers, and other personal identifiers.
To support individuals whose information may have been affected, PowerSchool is offering two years of free access to Experian IdentityWorks services. This offer includes:
  • Credit Monitoring
  • Internet Surveillance (Dark Web Monitoring)
  • Identity Restoration Assistance
  • $1 Million Identity Theft Insurance
You are strongly encouraged to enroll in these services, whether or not you received a direct notification, by July 31, 2025 (Your code will not work after this date at 5:59 UTC).
You can learn more by visiting PowerSchool’s official security update page: PowerSchool SIS Security Notice

Supporting Student Safety and Accountability
As we continue fostering a safe and responsible digital learning environment, we want to remind staff that all student accounts and district-issued devices are the property of RCSD. This means that students do not have an expectation of privacy when using these resources, and staff have the right to report any concerns.
Per the Student Acceptable Use Agreement, students and families acknowledge that:
“The Student and parent signing below agree that if the Student uses District technology resources, including but not limited to computers, network, and internet service, the Student waives any right to privacy the Student may have for such use. The Student and parent agree that the district may monitor the Student's use of District Technology Resources and Internet Access and may also examine all system activities the Student participates in, including but not limited to e-mail, voice, and video transmissions, to ensure proper use of the system. The District may share such transmissions with the Student's parents.”
If you see something concerning on a student’s device or account, whether it’s inappropriate content, a potential safety issue, or a misuse of technology, please don’t hesitate to say something. Start by notifying your site principal, who can partner with Educational Services and Technology. Together, we can support our students in using technology safely, responsibly, and in alignment with district expectations.
Thank you for helping maintain a safe and supportive digital learning environment.
