ParentSquare
  • All employees sign-in to ParentSquare through the “Sign In with Google” button to access their accounts.
  • A recording of the District ParentSquare training can be found here.
  • Staff members are welcomed to utilize ParentSquare for all of their messaging needs. If teachers wish to use ParentSquare to communicate with their classroom families, these slides will be reviewed during your site PD. Teachers are not required to utilize ParentSquare, but if they choose to instead to email families, please ensure all emails are in the BCC section, not the To or CC section of the email. We are not authorized by parents/guardians to share their information with others. Classroom share lists can be created for this purpose, where parents/guardians share their own email addresses/phone numbers with other families.

Temperature Guidelines
With high temperatures, it is important that we encourage students that are outside to drink water and get breaks in the shade. When temperatures are 95 degrees and above, activities should be adjusted to reduce strenuous exercises. When the temperature is 100 degrees at the time of the activity, bring the students inside. Any time it is 100 degrees or above, students must be brought inside. For example, if the forecast is a high of 102, but at lunchtime, it is 92, students can go outside and play.
With all warm days, staff should be encouraged to remind students to reduce running/exertion activities and allow any student who complains of overheating to go to the office for rest and observation. With direct sun, certain areas of a school site may increase heat exposure, such as blacktop or concrete areas. Caution should be taken to observe all students for signs of overexposure.
Students who are abnormally affected by high temperatures should be given special consideration, and require follow-up by staff.

IMAP/POP3 Email Settings Disabled - Action Required for Continued Email Access

In our ongoing efforts to maintain a secure infrastructure, we disabled IMAP/POP3 settings on June 30th, 2024. This change was necessary to enhance the security of our email system and protect sensitive information.
We understand this adjustment may impact how you access your emails on personal devices. To ensure uninterrupted email access, please use the Gmail app for iOS or Android. The Gmail app offers robust security features and a seamless user experience, making it the ideal solution for accessing emails on various devices.

Important: Action Required to Maintain Secure Network Access
As part of our annual network updates, staff need to accept a new certificate before reconnecting to the wireless network. These certificates are essential for ensuring your connection to the District Network remains secure and trusted.
When prompted to verify the certificate, please click ‘Continue’ as shown below (please note the prompt you receive might differ depending on the device you use).

Next, you will be prompted to enter the username and password you used to log in to your computer, as shown below. (Please note that the prompt you receive might differ depending on your device.)

After completing these steps, you should be able to reconnect to the network as usual. If you encounter any issues during or after this process, please call the help desk at (916) 771-1645, and we'd be happy to assist.
