Report Card Reminder
Elementary Report Card Information
Report Card Prep is November 13, 2024.
Report cards must be sent home by Friday, November 22nd or with parents at Parent Teacher Conferences. Please work with your principal on if report cards will be emailed or printed and by when. Teachers will have the ability to print their own report card in PTP.
We will have optional Zoom training on November 4th from 2:45 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Here is the Zoom link.

Running PowerSchool Report Cards- Teachers: This page includes steps on how to run a report card, as well as an instructional video.
If you have any questions about who is running report cards, including Spanish report cards, your site admin will give you additional information. If you are having any issues with entering grades or questions regarding PowerTeacher Pro, please submit a Zendesk ticket.
Middle School Report Card Information
Final grades are due by Monday, November 18th at 11:59 p.m. Report cards will be emailed home on November 20th. A reminder to please make sure you are running your own preview to check final grades. You can start running previews on Monday, November 4th.
If you notice grades missing on your report card previews, please double check the standards you are using in OTUS, especially Learning Behavior standards, to ensure they are for the appropriate class. Any changes you make in OTUS will reflect in the report card the following day. We will be reaching out to you if the incorrect standards are being used in your gradebook to ensure report card grades are printed correctly.

6-8 Science: Amplify Science Program Hub

K-8 Science Materials: Ordering From the Media Center
If you need materials for a science lab you are planning, you can order materials from the Media Center through your site’s Library Media Specialist.

If you’re thinking about retiring soon, we encourage you to explore the helpful webinars offered by CALSTRS. These sessions provide valuable insights that can assist you in making your retirement decision.
Additionally, mark your calendars for an informational meeting via Zoom on November 21, 2024, at 4:00 PM. This meeting will focus on the RCSD Golden Handshake Retirement Incentive and is open to all interested teachers.
Further details and an invitation will be sent out following the School Board meeting on November 14, 2024.
To maximize your understanding, we recommend attending the CALSTRS webinars prior to our information session. This will ensure you are well-prepared to discuss your options.
