A reminder, Elementary Progress Reports need to go home by Friday, September 26th. Progress Report PLC prep day is September 17th.

K-5 Math Curriculum Pilot
This year we will be having a K-5 math curriculum pilot. Please review the form below for more information. If you are interested in participating in the math pilot, please complete the form below by September 19. K-8 Science Materials: Ordering Materials from the Media Center
You can now order materials for science labs from the Media Center. To see a list of what is available for ordering, please use the first tab on the sheet linked below. To place an order, please follow the steps provided at the top of the first tab called “Complete List/Order Form”.
Important reminders:
- Be sure to rename your copy of the spreadsheet with your last name and school site.
- Be specific about the quantities needed for each item.
- To submit your order, share the list (print or digital) with your Library Media Specialist.

Benchmark Presentation Slides
Daily lesson presentations are available in Benchmark. There are K-2 Foundational Skills lesson slides for all units. Unit 1 lessons slides are now available for grades 3-5 and more units are coming soon. To access the lesson slides, scroll to the Lesson Presentations section in Benchmark.

Translate My Slide (Google Slides Translator)
Teachers and students now have access to the premium version of the Translate My Slide Google add-on. The add-on has been added to staff and student devices and can be found under the Extensions tab within Google Slides. Students and teachers are now able to use the add-on without daily limitations. Here is a 30-Second Screencastify of how to use the resource. Please note: It is very important that Newcomer English Learners hear first instruction in English. While translation tools are extremely valuable, it is important that they are not used to replace direct English instruction.

K-1 Foundational Skills Assessments
Beginning-of-Year Foundational Skills data for Kindergarten and 1st Grade is due in ESGI by September 19th. This includes only reading assessments.
Please plan on sending home the ESGI Parent Letter Report with your Progress Report. More information on the “Assessment Calendar” tab on the Foundational Skills Hub.

Personnel Services
Required Public School Works Training Due September 15th
This is a reminder that all required Public School Works training is due this Monday, September 15th. Classified employees must submit their timesheets directly to their sites, and certificated employees must complete their training by the deadline to receive their additional pay. Supervisors are able to see who has completed the training. If you have questions or need assistance with troubleshooting, please email Katherine Goldman in Personnel.
