Peachjar Launching in RCSD on October 27th
We’re excited to announce RCSD will launch a new digital flyer communication tool on October 27th called “Peachjar.”
No action is required on your part. We just wanted to let you know that we are shifting the way we approve and deliver flyers for school and community organizations. Starting next week, we will use Peachjar to send digital flyers home to families via email. Peachjar will offer our parents, guardians, and community organizations a more consistent, efficient, and fully accessible way to connect with the invaluable resources, programs, and services available in our community - and all available in their home language.
To learn more about Peachjar and how it will be an asset to our community check out this 1-minute video.
Upon launch, all parents and guardians will automatically begin receiving these flyers via email. In addition to flyers being sent home via email, a peachjar button will be placed on each school home page. Parents and guardians will be able to click on this button any time they want to see what flyers are available at that school. Peachjar does not replace our current home to school communication system (ParentSquare) and will be used exclusively for the distribution of school/district-approved flyers.

Middle School Report Card Information
Final grades are due by Thursday, November 6th at 11:59pm. Report cards will be emailed home on November 7th. A reminder to please make sure you are running your own preview to check final grades. Beginning on November 3rd, we will be importing grades from OTUS into Powerschool nightly. Please begin running your report card previews in PowerSchool at that time to identify any updates that may be needed in your gradebooks. You will need to update grades in OTUS first, and then they will be reflected in PowerSchool the next day.
If you notice grades missing on your report card previews, please double check the standards you are using in OTUS, especially Learning Behavior standards, to ensure they are for the appropriate class. Any changes you make in OTUS will reflect in the report card the following day. We will be reaching out to you if the incorrect standards are being used in your gradebook to ensure report card grades are printed correctly.
