Educational Services
The Reading Strategies Book 2.0 is explicitly designed as a research-based, practical resource for teachers to help readers build skills and strategies. The book is built to be used alongside any core reading program or curriculum. Please refer to this strategy/standard correlation guide to help you use this resource to align reading instruction with essential standards, and to plan Tier I and Tier II supports.

Amira and New Students
Any new student has 45 days from enrollment to take the Amira screener. You can administer the assessment at any point within that 45-day window. Please send home parent notification (Site Sample Amira Letter) at least 15 days before you plan to administer the assessment. Please use the Decision Tree for Assessing Multilingual Learners to determine if the student should take the assessment in English only, or in both English and Spanish.

K-8 Science Materials: Ordering Materials from the Media Center
You can now order materials for science labs from the Media Center. To see a list of what is available for ordering, please use the first tab on the sheet linked below. To place an order, please follow the steps provided at the top of the first tab called “Complete List/Order Form”.
Important reminders:
Be sure to rename your copy of the spreadsheet with your last name and school site.
Be specific about the quantities needed for each item.
To submit your order, share the list (print or digital) with your Library Media Specialist.
