Sacramento Kings Hosting Teacher Appreciation Night
The Sacramento Kings are hosting a Teacher Appreciation Night on March 11th! Here is a link that can be used for anyone interested in getting a tote and a chance to win an opportunity to shoot free throws on the court after the game.

Report Card Prep is February 25, 2026
Report cards must be sent home by Friday, March 6th. Please work with your principal on if report cards will be emailed or printed and by when. Teachers will have the ability to print their own report card in PTP.

Middle School Report Card Information
Final grades are due by Thursday, March 5th at 11:59pm. Report cards will be emailed home on March 6th. A reminder to please make sure you are running your own preview to check final grades. If you need any assistance please submit a Zendesk ticket.

K-5 Math Pilot Update
In order to provide all of our educational partners an opportunity to explore the pilot curriculum materials, we will be hosting our final Community Review Night at the district office on Monday, February 23rd from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

K-5 Science: Discovery Education Channels
Discovery Education has some great channels with many engaging, age-appropriate instructional resources. Here are some channels you may want to check out:
- Doodles and Digits - “brings math to life with colorful, standards-aligned videos designed for grades 3–5”
- Earth to Luna -”real-life and imaginary adventures to explore life, physical, and earth and space science concepts”
- The Fable Cottage - “a collection of traditional stories lovingly retold in modern language”

3rd-8th ELA RCSD Essential Standards Assessment- Google Form
Based on teacher feedback, we are gradually adding Google Form versions of the ELA RCSD Essential Standards Assessments to the Elementary Assessment Bank and the Middle School Assessment Bank. When you click on the Google Form link, you will be asked to make a copy of the assessment. Once copied, the assessment and data will be saved in your Google Drive. Please continue to check out your grade level for updates as additional Google Form assessments are added.
