Elementary Report Card Information
Report cards must be sent home by Thursday, May 28th. Please work with your principal on if report cards will be emailed or printed and by when. Teachers will have the ability to print their own report card in PTP.

If you have any questions about who is running report cards, including Spanish report cards, your site admin will give you additional information. If you are having any issues with entering grades or questions regarding PowerTeacher Pro, please submit a Zendesk ticket.

Middle School Report Card Information
Final grades are due by Tuesday, May 26th at 11:59pm. Report cards will be emailed home on May 28th. A reminder to please make sure you are running your own preview to check final grades. If you need any assistance please submit a Zendesk ticket.

K-5 Science: Mystery Science

Starting June 13 there will be a few changes to the Mystery Science lessons and units. You can expect to see stronger standards alignment, easier prep and improved activities, and updated assessments and vocabulary. You can preview those changes below.

K-5 Writing Curriculum
Thank you for your feedback on the writing curriculum. Based on the feedback received, beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, Benchmark Writing will become our district-focused writing curriculum. We will support Benchmark through professional development opportunities and will be aligning our writing resources to Benchmark Writing to ensure consistency across classrooms.

Summer Student Access - Lexia/i-Ready/IXL
Students will have summer access to their current subscriptions until the following dates:
Lexia: 6/30/26
i-Ready and IXL: 7/16/26
Teachers can assign a Summer Boost Skill Plan in IXL for the subject(s) students have subscriptions for. For more information on the IXL Summer Boost Skill Plan, please click here.

Cycle PD Dates for 2026-2027 School Year

The Ed Services team is busy planning professional development for next school year! We will have more details about the entire PD plan at the start of next year, but we wanted to get you the dates for PD Cycles now for your planning purposes. Please note that in 2026-2027, K-1 teachers will have an additional half day cycle in February.

i-Ready and IXL Window 3
The i-Ready and IXL window 3 ends tomorrow, 5/22! Thank you for all your work ensuring the 2nd grade students have completed their i-Ready Reading and Math Diagnostic. As a reminder, the Window 3 Diagnostic is optional for grades 3-8.

Would You Rather Question Generator
This Would You Rather Question Generator, adapted from Van Andel Institute for Education, is a quick way to spark conversation. Enter any number from 1–100 in the green box, and a random ‘Would You Rather’ question appears for students to respond to through writing, discussion, brain breaks, or transition times.

CAASPP data is beginning to populate in CERS. Follow the directions linked here to access overall proficiency levels for your students as well as individual scores.
