K-8 ELA Essential Standards Assessment Committee

We are looking to create a team of Kindergarten through 8th-grade teachers to create short assessments that align with  ELA essential standards. Teachers will be paid for 6 hours of work! Clear the grade

In the Rubric Assessment’s “Class Grading” page, teachers can now click into the cell of a student’s descriptor score and select “Clear Grade” in their dropdown to delete that assessment’s specific descriptor score & standard attempt. This is helpful for those times when you accidentally scored a student who should not have a grade for that assignment.

Student Sort by Status

In the Assessments module, students can filter their assessments via a dropdown to select a specific Completion Status (New!, In Progress, Turned In, Graded).
Note: By default, all statuses are selected.

Report Card Information
Middle School report cards will go home on March 10th.  Elementary, your principal will give you more information regarding your report card timeline.

Report Card PLC prep is 2/22/23. Optional Zoom for anyone that would like to attend on 2/22/23 at 2:30pm.

Report Card Comments for both elementary and middle school should be dated 2/28/23 or before. Elementary Report Card Rubrics must be dated 2/28/23.  You can enter comments or assign rubrics ahead of time and whenever works for you, but a reminder the date matters.

Otus has made it easier to add comments to the report card, including adding the same comment for multiple students or all students.  Please see the video below. It is important to note that while you can add the same comment for all students at one time, if you need to edit or make a change to a comment, you have to go to each individual student’s page.  Please check the date, the comment, the class, and click include on report card before sending a comment for all students.
