We wanted to remind staff of the two helpful documents below. The documents are linked above under the “More” section at the top of the blog, as well as on Zendesk.


Ed Services 101- This document has a quick overview and resources on a variety of topics such as SSP, ELD, subject specific info, and much more.


Key Resources by Grade Level- This document contains grade-level specific documents that will help support the planning and implementation of English Language Arts, Writing, Math, Science, and Grading.  


2nd-5th Grade i-Ready Family Night

We are hosting an i-Ready Family Night for families with students in 2nd-5th grade. This informational session will provide an overview of diagnostics, personalized instruction, and how both are utilized in the classroom. It will be Tuesday, August 29th, 6:30-7:30 pm on Zoom. More information and the Zoom link are on the flyer below. If possible, please include the flyer below in your weekly communication. 


i-Ready Family Night Invitation

Grades 2-5: i-Ready Window 1 and For Families Reports

As a reminder, i-Ready Diagnostic Window 1 ends September 15th, 2023. Please make sure students have completed the diagnostic before the window ends. After you have completed the first diagnostic, please provide families with the i-Ready For Families report. Work with your PLCs to decide when to send home the report or if you plan on discussing the report during conference week.

K-5 Science Materials

You will soon be able to order consumable materials from the Discovery Education science kit. Our tentative start date for this is September 18th. We will do our best to stock consumable materials listed here for each grade level. If you are interested in placing an order for materials, please communicate with your site’s LMS.  When orders are submitted, we will work to get the materials delivered to sites as quickly as possible, but please allow a two-week turnaround for this.

Technology Services Teacher End-of-Year Checkout - Technology As we near the end of the school year, we would like to share some guidance regarding the end-of-year checkout process for teachers' technology items. Please take a look at the below steps to ensure a smooth distribution and collection of items. The Information Systems Technician team will be distributing Ziploc bags to each site no later than June 6th based on certificated rosters. Principals and site clerical should then work internally to distribute the bags to each teacher. Ziploc Bag Distribution Each teacher will be provided one Ziploc bag for their current room. Teachers are required to place their iPad, Apple TV, charging bricks, charging cables, and remotes (both Apple TV and TV) inside the Ziploc bag. Each Ziploc bag should be clearly labeled with their respective current Room #. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES Elementary Report Card Information Report Card Prep is February 21, 2024. Report cards must be sent home by Friday, March 1st. Please work with your principal on if report cards will be emailed or printed and by when. Teachers have the ability to print their own report card in PTP. We will have an optional Zoom training on February 21 from 2:00pm-2:30pm for any elementary teacher that needs reminders on how to enter grades or comments in PowerSchool. Here is the Zoom link for the training. If grades are entered and you want to see what they look like, everything is live so you can create a PDF anytime between now and March 1st.
