CAASPP (SBAC) and ELPAC Scores Updated in Otus

CAASPP and ELPAC scores have been updated in Otus. If you would like to see student scores in Otus (CAASPP, ELPAC,i-Ready, previous grades), a reminder to go to student, then reports, then scroll down. You can switch the CAASPP subject between ELA and Math.

Elementary Report Card Drafts

Elementary teachers, please review the drafts your grade level report card. If you see something that needs to be updated (grammar, format, etc,), please fill out the form below. Once we receive the feedback we will get it translated into Spanish and have the report cards uploaded into PowerSchool before Tri 1 Report Cards are due. All comments will be on the back page (not by subject), as that allows all grades to be on first page.

TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

Update on ChromeOS Login Issues and Investigation Progress

Technology Services is currently investigating various ChromeOS login issues District-wide, affecting fewer than 1% of Chromebooks. Addressing these login issues remains our top priority, and significant progress has been achieved. If any students encounter problems logging into their Chromebooks, please submit a support request.


Here is a breakdown of the reported ChromeOS issues as of today:

  • Adding Additional Student Accounts: When attempting to log into a Chromebook using a Google account, if the account isn't recognized, users are prompted to sign in with a secondary account.

  • Cryptohome Mounting Issues: Users are unable to mount Cryptohome, or the Cryptohome itself is corrupted.

  • Blank Webpage Presentation: Students are faced with blank webpages upon logging in.

  • 8/25/23 ChromeOS Outage: On August 25th, Google experienced a ChromeOS outage resulting in students being unable to log in.


We are actively collaborating with Google and our technology partners to pinpoint solutions. Additionally, we have introduced a status page on Zendesk Guide to provide real-time updates.

Technology Services Teacher End-of-Year Checkout - Technology As we near the end of the school year, we would like to share some guidance regarding the end-of-year checkout process for teachers' technology items. Please take a look at the below steps to ensure a smooth distribution and collection of items. The Information Systems Technician team will be distributing Ziploc bags to each site no later than June 6th based on certificated rosters. Principals and site clerical should then work internally to distribute the bags to each teacher. Ziploc Bag Distribution Each teacher will be provided one Ziploc bag for their current room. Teachers are required to place their iPad, Apple TV, charging bricks, charging cables, and remotes (both Apple TV and TV) inside the Ziploc bag. Each Ziploc bag should be clearly labeled with their respective current Room #. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES Elementary Report Card Information Report Card Prep is February 21, 2024. Report cards must be sent home by Friday, March 1st. Please work with your principal on if report cards will be emailed or printed and by when. Teachers have the ability to print their own report card in PTP. We will have an optional Zoom training on February 21 from 2:00pm-2:30pm for any elementary teacher that needs reminders on how to enter grades or comments in PowerSchool.
