RCSD Professional Development Survey, 2024
It is time to develop the next Professional Learning Plan for 2024-2027, as the current 2021-2024 plan will end in June. The Professional Learning Plan will ensure that all students will exit RCSD at the end of eighth grade with strong academic, social-emotional, and behavioral skills. The form below gives all staff an opportunity to be part of this process, and the information gathered in the survey will be used by the Professional Development Advisory Committee (PDAC) to put together a professional learning plan for the next three years.
The deadline to submit the form is February 8th. Thank you for your time!

K-5 Science Materials
The spreadsheet below shows both consumable and non-consumable materials needed for all Discovery Education labs and Mystery Science labs by grade level. It also shows the availability of these materials in our warehouse. Fortunately, most of the materials needed for Mystery Science labs are in stock in the warehouse.
Science Materials List By Grade Level for Discovery Education and Mystery Science
If you need materials for a science lab you are planning, you can order materials from the warehouse through your site’s Library Media Specialist. If you order any non-consumable materials, you can keep them on site for future use when you are finished with the activity. Also, if you see items on the list that you have a need for to support your students in other areas besides science, feel free to request them in an order. When orders are submitted, we will work to get the materials delivered to sites as quickly as possible, but please allow a two-week turnaround for this.

Important End-of-Life Update for HP G4 and G5 Chromebooks
With our commitment to continually enhancing students' digital learning experience, we're excited to announce an ongoing Chromebook refresh across our schools. This initiative ensures students have access to updated and efficient technology, providing them with the latest tools and resources for a seamless learning experience.
As part of this refresh, we need to address the end-of-life Chromebooks, specifically HP G4 and G5 units. To maintain the security and functionality of our digital learning environment, all HP G4 and G5 Chromebooks will be disabled on February 2, 2024. If you have any HP G4 or G5 Chromebooks, please submit a Zendesk ticket to coordinate a time for our Information Systems Technician team to collect the units.
