-A clarification for elementary: Report cards can go home with parents at Parent-Teacher Conferences, they do not need to be sent home ahead of time.  That is a site decision. Please talk to your principal about exact dates of when report cards need to be finished.

Tutor.com

A reminder that all RCSD students in grades 4-8 have access to tutor.com. Tutor.com is an online tutoring service. Students can get a tutor 24/7 in Math, Science, Social Studies, English, and Foreign Languages. Tutoring sessions take place in their easy-to-use online classroom, which runs in your web browser. Students can navigate to tutor.com/rcsd and log in using their student ID and birthdate (in the form of mm/dd/yyyy).

Online Tutoring Support from the City of Roseville

The City of Roseville has a new resource on its website for online tutoring.  Resources include live online tutoring, access to videos for grade-level skills, and support for language learners.  Live tutoring is available for Kindergraten through 12th grade.

Both Tutor.com and the City of Roseville tutoring are valuable resources. The benefit of tutor.com is we can track data as a District since we have a license and they have additional subjects that students can receive tutoring in. The benefit of the city is there is tutoring for Kinder-3rd grade which we do not have through tutor.com.

Sora Reading App in Clever
Sora is a great way to encourage reading and increase access to books! If you have not done so already, please consider introducing your students to Sora. Students can borrow, renew, or place books on hold and the digital titles automatically return at the end of the lending period with no late fees. Students and teachers can use their RCSD Gmail accounts to log into Sora through Clever or via our unique RCSD Sora Link.

Important Note: Students can increase the number of age-appropriate titles that are available by adding the Roseville Public Libraries to their Sora accounts. Students can do this by following these steps:

1. Select the dropdown next to “Roseville City School District”

2. Select “Add Library”

3. Search “NorthNet Library System”

4. Select “This is My Library”
