TK/K/1 ESGI Student Detail Report
Please make sure to provide the ESGI Student Detail Report to families at conferences. The Student Detail Report will also be sent home with trimester 2 and 3 report cards so this is a great opportunity to review the reports with families. To see which assessments to include in the report, please refer to the week of November 13th-17th on the assessment calendars linked below.

K-5 Science Materials

You can order consumable materials from the Discovery Education science kits and many consumable materials from the Mystery Science units. We will do our best to stock consumable materials listed here for each grade level. You can request items from other grade levels. You can also request items that are not on this list, and we will do our best to accommodate your requests with the materials available in the warehouse. If you are interested in placing an order for materials, please communicate with your site’s LMS. When orders are submitted, we will work to get the materials delivered to sites as quickly as possible, but please allow a two-week turnaround for this. If you are planning to implement Mystery Science units in the future, you may find this supply calculator to be a helpful tool.

6-8 Math: IXL Snapshots
This year there are three IXL Snapshot windows scheduled simultaneously with the i-Ready Diagnostic (window 2 is from 4th - January 26th). The Snapshots are optional, and will pop up as an option for students when they log in. Students can click the X in the corner to ignore it, or “Get Started” to complete it. If students ignore it, it will not affect their skill plans. Students can access the Snapshot at any time during the assessment window from their home screen as well.

While the IXL Snapshots are optional, they are highly recommended. We will be comparing Snapshot data with i-Ready data to see if they align. If there is strong data that shows alignment, IXL Snapshots could be a replacement for the i-Ready Diagnostic in the future. We will share the data comparison, and gather teacher feedback before making any final decision.
