January 8th PD Day Just a reminder the times below is when we start.  Each location will be open 30 minutes ahead of each start time. TK-5 teachers please make sure you have your computers.  Sign-in will be done in the classrooms. Grades 6-8, sign-in will be done in the room where Myron Dueck will be speaking.  Myron said computers will not be required for the day. Tommy Apostolos Annual Kid's Shopping Day This year over 550 underserved children within our schools were nominated by their teachers to attend this event in order to receive much-needed winter clothing and shoes.  Due to the high number of nominations, we anticipate the need for over 400 adult volunteers.  We invite you to attend the annual shopping day as a volunteer in order to shop with a child. Report Card Reminders Trimester 1 grades are due no later than  Wednesday, November 15th  at  11:59 PM (PST) .  If you need to modify a student's grade following the above date, please submit a SchoolDude case selecting Problem Type: Grades/Comments, and then make the change(s) directly in PowerTeacher Pro. Weekend  support will be available  November 11th & 12th  from  8:00 to 5:00 PM . Simply submit a support request through  SchoolDude  or call the Helpdesk at  (916) 771-1645 , and we'll be happy to assist you. PIE Grant PIE Grant Program applications are due by Friday, October 13, 2017. The Roseville City School District (RCSD) Foundation established the Partners in Education (PIE) Grant Program to encourage, facilitate, recognize, and reward innovative and creative teaching approaches which increase student achievement and enhance educational opportunities in classrooms and at school sites. The RCSD Foundation's mission focuses on STEAM: Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math enrichment. Preference will be given to those applicants who request funding for any of these areas. The RCSD Foundation will award grants up to $750 per individual teacher or $2,000 per grade level or departmental team. PIE Grant Program recipients agree to attend the November 2, 2017, Board meeting in order to receive your grant allocation, and the May 31, 2018, Board meeting in order to report the results of your student work.
