General Information RCSD Employee Wellness Program The Employee Wellness program offered by our district is available to support all employees. As such we want to make sure what is being offered makes sense and is meeting the needs of those utilizing it. Please take a moment to provide your feedback on past program offerings and which programs were beneficial. This will assist us in determining future programming. RCSD Employee Wellness Program Survey Ed Services Update Trimester 1 Report Card Information We know report cards are not due for a few more weeks, but we are getting a lot of questions so we wanted to answer the most frequently asked now. Information for TK-8 We will have optional four report card training times: October 18 and October 25 at 2:30 pm and 3:15 pm on both days. This is completely optional. General Information COVID-19 Guidance: Assemblies, Rallies & Dances Just a reminder that under current state guidance, RCSD will: Not hold large indoor events such as dances, assemblies, and rallies. Not have outdoor events where students are seated without masks, closer than 6 feet for more than 15 minutes. Not have dances both indoors and outdoors. Will allow large outdoor events, such as Fall Festivals, where people are moving and not sitting close to others for an extended period. RCSD will revisit all large events, including assemblies, rallies, and dances, as updated guidance is provided by the state throughout the year. General Information Face Mask Compliance As a reminder, all staff are required to wear face masks, covering their nose and mouth and secured under the chin, unless they have gone through an interactive process after supplying a medical exemption from their doctor. Face shields with drapes are not allowed without having specific permission for an individual with a medical exemption. Please refer to CDPH guidelines , RCSD Welcome Back to School letter, and RCSD Health and Safety guidelines for further clarification. Ed Services Updates Middle School Mid-Trimester Progress Check Middle School Teachers: An email from the school site will go home on Friday, September 24 to remind parents they can check grades in Otus.  Here  is a sample of the message that will be sent home by the school site.   Ed Services Updates iReady Diagnostic Window 1 The iReady diagnostic testing window will close on September 10. As a reminder, the first diagnostic is required for grades 2-8 and optional for grades K-1. Please remember that personalized instruction will not be available until the first diagnostic is completed. Contact: Kelly Paese Yusim Benchmark Assessments in Otus All Benchmark assessments for Units 1 and 2 are now built and available in Otus. You can find all assessments in the “Shared with Me” folder in the Assessment section of Otus. As a reminder, all of the Week 1 and 2 assessments for Units 1-8, Grades 1-5 are in Otus.
