Middle School Staff Professional Development,  January 7, 2019  Myron Dueck is coming back to continue our learning on assessment, feedback, and grading. We will be meeting at the same location as last year, Bayside Blue Oaks ( 10000 Alantown Dr, Roseville, CA 95678 ), from 8:30am-3:30 pm and doors will open at 8am. Last year, Myron gave us an overview of assessment and grading practices. This year, we will be going more in-depth about how to best utilize learning goals, clear levels, and rubrics with students. These critical pieces will assist students to answer the question of where am I going, where am I now, and how do I close the gap. We will be sending out a more detailed agenda as we get closer to January 7th. This training includes all middle school teachers, ALC staff, special education staff including RSP, SDC, ASD, FSP, speech, counselors, all aides, and admin. Tommy Apostolos Shopping Day The Tommy Apostolos Shopping Day is tomorrow, December 1st starting at 5:30am!  There will be over 500 RCSD students shopping for warm winter clothes that morning.  You can download the volunteer form or sponsor a child at  http://tommyafund.com/ .
